Make one of these refreshing citrus drinks to serve at your holiday party.
Lemon vodka cocktail
- 6 lemons*
- 750 ml vodka
1 Wash the lemons with dish soap or fruit spray and rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. Dry with a clean tea towel . Using a sharp knife or vegetable peeler, carefully remove the peel from the lemons, taking as little of the bitter white pith as possible. Reserve the fruit for another use.
2 Place the peel in a clean lidded jar and pour the vodka over the zest to cover.
3 Close the lid and leave in a cool dark place for 30 days to infuse.
Tip: *Replace the lemons with mandarin oranges to make Mandarin Vodka.

Makes: 750 ml
Limoncello drop cocktail
- 2 oz Lemon vodka
- 1 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 egg white (optional)
1 Place all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker full of ice.
2 Shake vigorously for about 1 minute and strain into a chilled champagne coupe.
3 To make a Limoncello Fizz, add 3 ounces of prosecco or sparkling Italian lemon soda.
Orange blossom cocktail
- 3 oz freshly squeezed mandarin juice
- 2 oz Mandarin vodka
- 1/2 oz liquid honey
1 Place all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake vigorously for about 1 minute and strain into a chilled champagne coupe.
2 To make an Orange Blossom Fizz, add 3 ounces of spicy ginger beer.
